Missing each other's company

I was sick for a few days with cough and flu so i was not able to play with my baby, Gabe, during that time. Naawa rin naman ako sa baby ko kasi he wanted me to cuddle him like what we used to do every morning and before going to sleep. Kaso i don't want him to get sick din, mas mahirap kapag sya kasi hindi namin malalaman kung ano nararamdaman nya di ba? So tiis talaga porkloins and terderloins, luha. So when i was finally OK (a little, makulit din e, hehehe), nabuhat ko na cya kaso that is after his scheduled DPT and HEPB shot so he's not in a playful mood. Kaya ayun, sabukot ang mukha at ayaw magpababa. Pero when the pain finally subsided, he was off to sleep, napagod ata kaiiyak. After giwing him his milk, i didn't notice that he was holdng my hand, so we end up sleepin hand in hand.
My boy truly missed me, sarap naman, hehehe. - tipaks

PA para sa 1 taong paghihirap, pakikibaka at pagkakawang gawa

It's the time of the year again when you see your short comings, frustrations and waisted efforts in paper. When every mistake you have done in the whole year of your working existence is measured on where you failed, what you have not done and performance measures you have only seen the day it is given to you.

But what's new? Ika nga, sa dami ng beses na nagkaroon ng ganito, you seem to get used to it. The how's and why's don't seem to bother you anymore. The furstrations and disbelief seem to fade like fog in the early morning. Sanayan na lang di ba ternderloins and porkloins. What can we do, we are victims of the system that a few can only understand and a handful manuever.

It's the time of the year again when you see all your triumphs and achievements in paper. But this time it only stays there. How it turn out on your payslip or on your next day at work will still and remain a mystery. Sabi nga ni Mao, sa gyera tayo ang magkasama, pero bakit pagdating nga ganitong panahon e parang hindi mo alam kung ano mga nagawa ko.

Pero at the end of the day, you still need to work, not for the company but for your family, for your needs. Your helping the company grow but is it helping you grow? Bottomline, just gotta work. . .just gotta work- tipaks. . .

Inay's and Tito Ian's Departure (My 1st Time in NAIA)

Hindi pa man nakakauanwa baby ko e nasa airport na agad kami last saturday mga prokloins and tendrloins. And my little was loving every minute of it. Layas e hehehe, mana sa parents nya.

Inay and tito Ian flew to Singapore, for Inay, it's her much awaited vacation, for tito Ian, it's a job seeking adventure. Wish we could join, have a vacation also for ourselves kaso Gabe is still too young to travel.

Ingat po inay and tito Ian, till we meet again. - tipaks. . .

Brenda's 1st BJ for 2010 - Belated Happy Beerday

This is really for the records, hehehe. It was Brenda's b-day last Jan. 1 and ang loka have removed her name on the b-day list for Jan para hindi malaman ng buong PBB. Kaso we have remembered. So kahit hindi ako kasama sa blow-out nya sa Guilly's, we still bought her a cake for her birthday. So cheers for the 1st BJ of Brenda for 2010 and many more BJ's to come. (nga pala, wala bayad cake, send namin sa e-mail breakdown para sa share mo, hehehe)- tipaks. . .

Influential Leadership - 1st Training Module for the Year

January 14, 2010 - PBB attended another useful module presented by DDAy, Influential Leadership, the art ng pambobola, hehehe. Madz, Pao, Tiny, Barbie and me self together with the Bagong Uso staff and Lupon ng Tagabili members attended the very interesting training that highlighted some leadership techniques that will help us sa pambobola more effectively. Pero hindi sa pambobola talaga, pero how to make the NO into Yes (applicable only on work and not on other makamundong bagay, hehehe. . .hindi makakatulong sa manyak, hehehe) and how to convey support from your co-workers. Converting the skeptic to a supporter. How effective this strategy might be is still unconfirmed but this is something i will surely try to see how it works. - tipaks. . .

Fun Time with Gabe

Just want to share to you some pictures of our kulitan time, hehehe. Sarap.

Surely am blessed to have him in my life tenderloins and porkloins. Love you so much Gabe - tipaks. . .

DPT Vaccine with Daddy, Mommy for a Day

Last Friday, this porkloin was tasked to bring our angel, Gabe to the community clinic for his scheduled DPT vaccine. Unfortunately or fortunately, hehehe, mommy have a job interview that day so there was no choice but for me to bring him to the community clinic for the vaccine. And what an experience it was, hehehe.

So there i was, carrying Gabe's bag with his milk and water inside, with extra diapers, shirt and milk, Gabe on one hand and an umbrella on the other. Can you imagine the way i look that day? hehehe. When we reached the clinic, it was an odd feeling to have all the mother's there look at us. Maybe waiting for the mother of my child to appear. Ackward pala kapag ganun, hehehe. Pero i was glad i was there and i am the one with Gabe for his vacccine. Ganun pala yun, ikaw
ang tense para sa anak mo and it's good to see that your child is growing.

At ayun, tinawag na number namin and the midwife was preparing Gabe for the vaccine. Ako ang kinakabahan mga porkloins, parang ako ang tutrukan, hehehe. Funny thing is, ng turukan si Gabe at nakita kong nasaktan anak ko, grabe, gusto kong tabigin kamay ng midwife at magalit. Good thing i remembered it was for his own good. Ganun pala yun. Tama pala sabi nila that you'll always be there oon your childs defense lalo na kapag nasasaktan sya.

After the vaccine, syempre iayak to the max ang baby ko at mega amo naman ang daddy, hehehe. E mabait anak ko so tumigil agad cya, hehehe. So pagdating sa bahay, sleepna agad baby ko, resting kasi stressed. - tipaks. . .

At the strings end

Just finished lunch with the PBB team. As usual, another boring lunch. Only adding to the stress of work and all the disappointments attached to it. As we head back to our work dungeon, Ka Beza strung a few lines that made us think, hehehe. . .it fairly sound right but we got the tune anyhow, peace! The song goes. . .

" I'm so tired of being here, suppressed by my childish fears. . .it's immortal as Madz pointed out, yeah immortal nga, theme song? sabi ko, hahaha. . .the we continued. . .and if you have to leave, cause your presensestill lingers here, and it won't leave me alone. . "

It made me think for a while, how do you push on when your drive have already died down? How do you go on if year in year out the same old issues, problems and hindrances appears. As if nothing is being resolved, only the persons involved changed, maybe some of the players change, but the same issues are still there. How do you press on? How do you move on when you already have given your mind, your body even and maybe your soul for them to realize and hope see what is needed to be done and what you are asking for? How?

How? Push a little harder, i say. . .work more, strive more. . .better yourself. And after you think you have done what you can, given what you can give, worked your ass off, dropped the last drop of effort you can, then maybe it's time to move on. You've done your part, given your best shot. Sometimes your efforts wont be seen, they might not notice what you have done. But the important thing is, you've tried. Me? I'm at the end of my string. Already fed up and tired. Hope this Friday's meeting will give fruit to all of this shit. Let's see. . .maybe just maybe. . .- tipaks. . .

Barbie's New Year's Illusion

Here’s the case, Barbie suddenly decides it’s time to bring back the old Barbie by cutting all the excess curves she has, medyo dumami na e, hehehe. Also in time for her wedding by the end of this year. Baka daw kc hindi na magkasya wedding gown nya kapag hindi nya pinigilan paglaki nya, hehehe. So here’s the stats:

Before Current
Weight 110 lbs 132 lbs
(Clinic data and Barbie’s testimony)
Waist 24 in. 32 in.
(using Tiny’s measuring tape, hindi daw accurate sabi ni Barbie, asa pa!)
Chest 32 in. 34 in.
(OK lng daw hindi na mabago to, hehehe)
Hips 34 in. 36 in.
(kaya hindi na kasya sa upuan e)

Thigh (left) 23 in. (mas malaki pa sa hita ko, hahaha)
(right) 23 in.
Biceps (left) 11 in. (magkasing laki na kami, hehehe)
(right) 11 in.

Ang siste, she want’s to achieve the old stats in 6 months. That’s a lot of work, hehehe. Goodluck baby girl, good luck. . .PBB lunch out tayo everyday, tapos starbucks lagi, hahaha. . .cream pops Barbie? – tipaks. . .

IMI SSCG BU Gift Giving at Sta. Rosa Community Hospital

Improvised oxygen mask, no blankets, no food, no money but still full of hope.

Tenderloins and Sirloins, last December 22, IMI SSCG BU represented by Jawy Villar, Ka Beza, Tiny, Prosti, Vangie of Tahanang Wala Hagdan and Rey of Kapwa Ko Kapwa Mo went to Sta. Rosa Community Hospital in Sta. Rosa, Laguna to hand out cash gifts the group collected during our Christmas party two weeks earlier in Hard Rock Café.

We handed cash gifts to 8 indigent families that morning. It was a very humbling experience. Reminding us of how fortunate and blessed we are especially during these hard times. Tears flowed and hearts were overwhelmed, this noble act will never be forgotten and will surely spark a continuous effort to continue this drive as frequent as we can.

As Jawy Villar have said, our mother’s must be proud of us.

It is better to give than to receive, as the saying goes. It is more fulfilling to warmth our hearts because we helped than be warmth by the help we receive. Kaya Natin Basta’t Sama-Sama. – tipaks. . .

PBB Joins Children’s Hours Relief Operations in Arayat Pampanga

This is another activity that I have failed to post fellow sirloins and lovely tenderloins that is worth mentioning. Last November 26, PBB joined Children’s Hour in their relief operation in Bano Park, Arayat Pampanga. The drive was supported by the Philippine Navy who escorted us to the relocation site. O dib a, hindi lang pang kalokohan ang mga taba naming pang civic work din pala, hehehe.

We met with our Children’s Hour and Navy friends in Camp Aguinaldo before heading to Arayat, Pampanga. And take note, we left Laguna at around 4AM. Grabe, isipin mo yun, napagising mo ng ganun kaagap ang mga porkloins na to? A true test of their dedications and kahiligang maglayas, hahaha.

Evacuees at the Bano Park in Arayat Pampanga

This is such a great experience, knowing that in our small way e nakatulong kami to the less fortunate. What’s more rewarding is that the smiles and the warmth the people there shared with us as we hand out clothes, foods and boxes of C2 (o me commercial pa). Here are some of the kulit moments, syempre, hehehe.

Dirty is the hands, dirty. . . hehehe.

Kuya pahipo ha, wag ka gagalaw. (Ka Beza, dahan dahan at baka pumutok yan, hehehe)

Strike a pose, PBB.

With Tanya of Children’s Hour

We were also joined by our friends from Tahanang Wala Hagdan and from the GABALIKAT Foundation. Also assisting us during this event are volunteers from the IKUSKOS MO, HILAMOS KO Charity Institution.

This is surely one activity we will be joining next time. – tipaks. . .
